Birthing Bravely Doulas

When the three of us met within the Birth Community, we knew almost instantly there was a desire to collaborate with one another.  Although we each have unique hobbies and interests, we all share a strong connection through our love of laughter, raising a busy household with three children, and being California natives.  As a Birthing Bravely Doula, we are passionate about our role in birth, committed to supporting each other both personally and professionally, and eager to work together effectively to ensure that YOU have a positive birth experience.

I am a Birth Doula and proud mama of three.  I have a degree in Psychology in addition to a professional background in business and leadership.  My overwhelming passion for birth and empowering others ultimately led me down the path to assisting families with achieving a healthy and satisfying birth experience.  When I'm not supporting families, I enjoy watching my kids play soccer, taking trips and exploring new places, and catching up with friends over coffee.

I am a Birth Doula and mom of three busy and adventurous boys. After earning a Bachelor of Music in performance and then spending nearly a decade in the classroom as a 5th grade teacher, I left education to stay home with my young children. Since then, I have found a way to combine my love of sharing knowledge with a profound joy in supporting families as they welcome a new members.  Outside of prenatal support and birth, I can be found serving as the soprano section leader of a local community choir, enjoying date nights to new restaurants with my husband and friends, and watching our boys play baseball, hockey, soccer, and swim.

Wife, mother, educator and birth doula.  I love the challenge and beauty of birth.  I have decided to follow my passion and calling in life as a birth doula.  It is so important that women and couples feel supported, respected and cared for as they welcome their child(ren) to the world.
I have a B.A. in Communication Studies and an M.A. in teaching English which are two very valuable foundations for my work.  I find joy in meeting new people and talking about birth.  In my free time, I love playing outside with my family and friends, cooking and sharing delicious food and traveling to new places.
